Genes, Repair and Regeneration in Ophthalmic Workstation was set up to study the molecular and genetic causes of eye disease and to develop gene and stem cell therapy platforms.
Laboratory findings were tested against patient datasets, and the results sent fresh questions back to the bench. That loop became our working model for translational research.
Imaging, Biomechanics and Mathematical Modelling Solutions brought ultra-widefield imaging, adaptive optics and dynamic vascular imaging to the study of the whole eye.
